Starting and ending cleaning mode
To empty the mixing hopper more effectively and fling material off to clear the mixing au-
gers, you can switch on cleaning mode.
Cleaning mode requires that the mixing hopper not contain more than 400 kg of materi-
al. If the mixing hopper load exceeds 400 kg, the control unit will prevent cleaning mode
from being switched on to prevent any damage to the drive.
Cleaning mode must be switched off before the next regular mixing process can be
started.
1. Dismiss all persons from the danger area of the machine.
2. Keep animals away from the danger area of the machine.
3. If applicable, end the regular mixing process.
4. Open the dosing gate by pressing the button “3, 4 or 5“ at the control switch cabinet (see chapter
“Operating elements and controls”, page 52).
5. Set the “Mix/Deliver” selector switch at the control switch cabinet to the “Mix” position (see chapter
”Operating elements and controls“, page 52).
6. Set the “1” selector switch at the control switch cabinet to the “On” position (see chapter “Operating
elements and controls”, page 52).
The start-up warning will beep for 10 seconds before the mixing auger starts up.
The mixing auger slowly revs up to the preset cleaning speed and must be switched off manually
after 1 minute.
7. To end the cleaning process, set the “1” selector switch at the control switch cabinet to the “Off”
position (see chapter “Operating elements and controls”, page 52).
Cleaning mode has ended.
