Short instruction/Set
You need:
•
if possible a second person to lift the machine off the rack
•
a small screw driver
•
a multiple socket
•
a drill backing board
•
adhesive tape
•
PCB material and
•
tools (drills/routers)
Examine the packaging for transport damage.
Open the lid of the packaging and remove anchoring straps. The machine is inside of a rack. If
the rack does not fit through your doors, the machine has to taken from the rack with at least
two persons. Dismount the upper part of the rack and carry it vertical through the door. Mount
the rack and insert machine again.
Carrying points of the machine are the aluminium profiles near the feet. If needed move the y-
bar in the middle of the table to ensure even weight distribution. Align the 4 levelling feet so that
the machine does not wobble. Examine the machine for possible transport damages.
Manual test:
With no cables connected, check whether all three axis move freely. Check if the
supplied spindle easily rotates.
Spindle Setup:
With the Premium the spindle is already mounted in a way that a drill or a router
with correct length (21 mm from the tool tip to top of the ring; 38mm total length) can be lowered
to a maximum of 0.5 mm above the table. Thus touching the table with the tools is not possible.
If the cables are
not yet connected,
insert the USB-
cable to your com-
puter, the two
power cables to
the power supply
and the cable with
the S-video-plug
to the door
switches. Please
control connection
of power cable va-
cuum cleaner and suction tube.
