– Screw the mounting screws onto the disk carrier for future re-installation
– Grip the disk carrier by the edges and slide it in the corresponding free slot
– Tilt the latches until these are anchored to the disk cage and lock the disk carrier
by closing the latches.
b. Install the plastic blank on the device shutter in the corresponding free slot:

Accessing the device shutter from its internal side, with the plastic blank facing the
rear, insert it in the dedicated slot
– Secure the plastic blank by tightening the two retaining screws.
CAUTION:
It is recommended to protect any free device slot with the appropriate plastic blank.
This is important for your safety and for the proper functioning of the air cooling
system.
14.Close the device shutter (for details, if needed, see Device Shutter Closing , on page
6-5).
15.Perform a system power on (for details, if needed, see Restart Operations , on page 6-9).
