Helm Station Switch Panel
A typical helm station switch panel includes these
functions:
• Dimmer for dash lights
• Bilge pump
• Navigation lights
• Cockpit lights
• Spares
The
dimmer
switch controls backlighting brightness
level on all engine gauges, dash components, and the
magnetic compass.
The
navigation lights
switch controls the red, green,
and 360° white lights for night operations. You can
select all navigation lights while underway or the 360°
white light by itself for anchoring.
The
cockpit lights
switch provides power to the aft
cockpit red lights mounted under the port and star-
board gunwales. Each cockpit light also has its own
OFF-ON switch.
Several
spare
switches are provided for installation of
future electrical devices. Each spare switch is rated at
10 amps.
