5. In the Save and Download pop-up window,
ensure that all boxes are checked.

6. Check that the VÅNTEC-1 controller, the
FDC (if present) and the diffractometer are
switched on and connected according to
Figure 4.3. If your VÅNTEC-1 has an inte-
grated FDC, refer to Figure 4.6.
7. Click OK to download.
6.6 Factory Default Settings
1. Import the default detector settings (see Fig-
ure 6.13).
1.1 In the Configuration menu, select File >
Section(s) > Import ... .
1.2 Import the Advanced Settings from the
floppy disk sent with the controller. The
floppy will be marked “Advanced Set-
tings” with the system serial and control
numbers. Advanced settings imports all
of the factory-determined specifica-
tions into the configuration file.
