If you edit an already existing calibrated method and make some changes at
the basic structure or at the normation, you need to renew the calibration as
well. In this case click

first, and then perform a new calibration.
6.5 Managing System Spectra
The spectra workspace can be accessed by clicking the
button in the navigation bar. It
enables the management of the system spectra database. System spectra serve as basic data for
the calculation routines and should therefore be treated with great care.

On the left hand side three tabs navigate you through the branches of
Pure elements
,
Primary
spectrum
and
Standard samples
. On the right hand side the selected spectra are displayed (Fig.
87).
It is possible to show, add and delete spectra from the database. Another way to add system
spectra to the database is directly measuring them in the system spectra workspace of XSpect Pro.
If system spectra are already available, the spectra workspace gives you the opportunity to include
many system spectra to the database at the same time.
