The following combinations are not compatible:
-
Battery module with fixing pin and battery contact strip
without fixing hole
- Top housing section with fastening ribs and additional bond-
ing segments
- Bonding segments in connection with a battery with fixing
pin and a battery contact strip with fixing hole
Retrofitting of the battery fastening
Note
The service technician bears the responsibility for correct execu-
tion of the repair work.
A special retrofitting kit has been developed for an improved bat-
tery fixation. It contains a number of bonding segments that are
bonded into the battery compartment of the Space infusion
pumps. Immediate retrofitting is not necessary if the pump does
not show any wear of the battery contacting. However we recom-
mend that the retrofitting kit is fitted during the regular check
every two years (TSC).
1. Remove the battery compartment cover ( Fig.: 3 - 14 / Item 1 )
and remove the battery module ( Fig.: 3 - 14 / Item 2 ).
