SHUT-DOWN AND DISMANTLING
Shutting the machine down should be done by authorized personnel. For this purpose one must eliminate the pressure from the hydraulic
circuit, disconnect the electric flex from the mains power supply network and dispose of substances which are potentially
harmful to the environment. Place the machine in a suitable place, out of the reach of children or unsuitable people.
For dismantling the machine as refuse, return it to the supplier or take it to an authorized refuse collection centre.
Do not dispose of it in the environment.
Cures:
replace the doser
- Cause 3:
the doser’s photo-diodes do not send signals to the electronic control centre
Cures:
check the operation of the photo-diodes with the impulse counter and replace if necessary
- Cause 4:
the delivery solenoid valve loses from the discharge
Cures:
check and replace if necessary
- Cause 5:
the expansion valves lose during delivery (except lever machine, which is not fitted with expansion valves)
Cures:
check the calibration and eventually the seal
N.B.:
Do not fully unscrew the expansion valve regulation union with the boiler under pressure.
- Cause 6:
the infusor operates irregularly
Cures:
check and replace if necessary
Problem: Insufficient use of the coffee
- Cause 1:
pump pressure incorrect
Cures:
regulate the pressure checking the manometer during delivery. Exact calibration value: 9 bars.
- Cause 2:
expansion valves calibration incorrect: they lose during delivery (except lever machine)
Cures:
regulate the calibration
- Cause 3:
the delivery temperature is incorrect
Cures:
check the temperature with the thermometer during delivery at the filter holder spout outlets. Intervene if necessary using the
pressure switch.
- Cause 4:
the delivery solenoid valve loses from the discharge
Cures:
check and replace if necessary
- Cause 5:
the grain size of the ground coffee is incorrect (grain too fine or too coarse)
Cures:
check the delivery time and regulate the grinding if necessary
- Cause 6:
shower and filters partially obstructed
Cures:
check and clean; replace if necessary
Problem: Leakages occur from the water and steam pipes with the relative taps shut
- Cause 1:
sealing gasket defective or presence of a foreign body in the seal housing.
Cures: check and replace if necessary
Problem: Water or steam leakages occur under the tap knobs during opening
- Cause 1: tap axis seals defective
Cures: check and replace if necessary
Problem: A loss between the group and the filter holder occurs during delivery
Cause 1: underpan seal defective
Cures: replace
- Cause 2: edge of filter irregular
Cures: replace
Problem: Loss of water from the block ring-nut
- Cause 1: seal defective
Cures: replace
Problem: Loss of water from the block ring-nut during manual loading
- Cause 1: tap axis seal defective
Cures: replace
