How to put tray back into the ROV
Prepare ROV tray for installation:
a.
Check to make sure battery assembly is correctly installed.
b.
Check tray is clean and dry.
c.
Check the 2 o-ring seals on the tray are in the correct place and in
good condition with no nicks, cuts or flat areas. Lubricate the seal if
required with silicone grease.
The two o-ring seals of the ROV tray
d.
Check the two o-ring seals shown below are in good condition before
putting tray back into ROV.
e.
Replace o-ring seals if you find damage or fit is not good. O-rings must
be fit well and in good condition to ensure the ROV is watertight.
Install ROV tray to point of bolts:
a.
Hold the top bar with one hand and support the tray with one hand
underneath the tray.
b.
Align the tray with the ROV. You will see two internal rails that the tray
will grip onto.
c.
Slide the tray forward until it grips the internal rails. Keep the tray
aligned with the ROV body to prevent bending.
IMPORTANT!
When re-installing the tray, check o-ring seals are in good condition and
fitted well, and ROV can hold a vacuum once installed to avoid potential for
water ingress and damage to ROV.
