System Time
The clock and calendar can be set by manually or synchronized to a
remote Network Time Protocol (NTP) time server. NTP provides
accurate and synchronized time across the Internet. The time and
date flashes continuously when there is no SNTP signal (indicating the
time is not accurate). Use this screen to set the BOSST101 system
time settings.
The following table lists the fields in this screen.

Select a time sever to automatically update the
system time on BOSST101.
This field is set to
NTP Disable
by default.
Time Zone Select the time zone for your location.
This field is set to (+0:00) Greenwich by default.
Year/Month/Date/Hour/Min Enter the year in four digits, and then select the
settings for the month, date, hour, and time,
Save
Click this button to save the current settings.
Backup and Recovery
BOSST101 can store a snapshot of all system settings in an
image
file.
Should you experience system failure or want to experiment with
different configurations, this image file can then be reloaded into
BOSST101.
NOTE: To upload/backup system setting from/to an image
file, please make sure a PC is connected to the BOSST101
LAN (see
LAN Connections on page 12
).
