Operator Ring Mode
This field determines the method of selecting an
operator to call.
Click the Combo box and select
Round Robin
to
have BOSST101 cycle through the available operator
extensions on a turn-based basis according the last
extension used.
Select
Sequential
to have BOSST101 try the
operator extensions in order regardless of the last
dialed operator extension.
Key ‘0’~‘9’,‘#’ Function
Use this field to configure the in-call menu options for
this Auto Attendant.
Select from the following functions:
•
Dial By Name: Place a call using the letters on
the handset to spell a name.
•
Replay: Listen to the greeting again.
•
To Operator - Call Operator: Connect to the
operator.
•
Hang Up: Terminates the call.
•
To Another AA: Call the Auto Attendant specified
in the
Next AA
field (i.e. for a different
department).
Idle Function Specify how this Auto Attendant reacts to no input
from the user (see above for the list of functions).
Ring Period
Enter the time in seconds to ring and wait before
returning to the Auto Attendant if there is no
response.
Dial by Name
Select
First/Last
to dial an extension by entering the
persons first/last name. This function is useful if you
know the name of the person you are calling but not
their extension number.
Error Loop
Specify how many times BOSST101 repeats the Auto
Attendant if the caller dials an extension number that
doesn’t exist.
Idle Loop
Specify how many times BOSST101 repeats the
Auto Attendant if the caller doesn’t respond after
connecting.
Save
Click this button to save your settings and return to
the previous screen,
Cancel
Click this button to return to the previous screen
without saving any settings.
Check Ext No.
Use the following screen to check for duplicate extension numbers
when assigning a new number. Type the number you wish to use in
the text box, and click
Check.
