Global Settings
PBX Global Configuration
Use this screen to configure extension length, admin password, trunk
dialling, outside line requests, business hours and non-working days
(Holidays settings).
The following table describes the fields in the
PBX Global
Configuration
screen.

Field
Description
PBX Global Configuration
PBX global configuration applies to all BOSST101 services and configurations that are
not already individually set. Individual settings take priority over global settings. For
example, an Auto Attendant configured for a specific trunk line (see
Trunks on page 32
)
takes precedence over the companywide Auto Attendant.
Extension Length
This field sets the length of the telephone extension
number used in the PBX. You can select to use:

digits with maximum
900
extensions within
the range 100~899.
•
04
digits with maximum
9000
extensions within
the range 1000~8999.
Default PBX Admin Password
This field is the password for the Web Configurator.
The default password is
1234
. To ensure the security
of your BOSST101, it is recommended you enter a
new password as soon as possible.
Enter a numerical password between 0000 and 9999.
