Loading procedure

Each loading procedure consists of the following steps:

D

Check the content of the configuration to be loaded

D

Check and load deviating IP addresses

D

Load the configuration file including module names and comments

D

Load the Ethernet parameters

.

The loading of faulty IP addresses and Ethernet parameters may affect
other system modules which are already communicating and lead to
unforeseen complications. It is important to proceed deliberately and
carefully. For information on the assigning of IP addresses, see 3.3.

Always activate ”switch to STOP”. Otherwise, new or changed IP ad-
dresses cannot be loaded.

Each system module that is addressed returns its status. This is entered in
the status line of the main window.
