Refueling

Fuel is highly flammable.
Fire at the fuel tank can

result in fire and explosion.
Do not smoke. Never bring
a naked flame near the fuel
tank.

Fuel expands when ex-
posed to heat. When the

tank is overfilled, fuel can es-
cape and get onto the rear
wheel. This results in a dan-
ger of falling.
Do not fill the tank past the
bottom edge of the filler
neck.

Fuel attacks plastic sur-
faces, making them dull

or unsightly.
Wipe spilled fuel off plastic
parts immediately.

Leaded fuel will destroy
the catalytic converter!

Use only unleaded fuel.

Make sure the ground is
level and firm and park the
motorcycle.

Open the protective cap.
Open the fuel tank cap with
the ignition key by turning
counterclockwise.
Fill the tank with fuel of the
quality listed below.
