The
Performance
tab contains the following important parameter:

Rts threshold (bytes) –
Minimum packet size to require an RTS (Request To
Send). For packets smaller than this threshold, an RTS is not sent and the
packet is transmitted directly to the WLAN.

It is necessary to reset the PCMCIA Adapter after making configuration changes via
the
Wireless LAN Configuration
utility. Perform this procedure as follows:
