Exposure programme selection
•
A sound signalizes also if any of the three control buttons:
TIME,
MODE, START
have been pressed.
•
If within 1 minute since the end of the session none of the three but-
tons:
TIME, MODE, START
has been pressed, the device switches
into the stand-by mode, keeping the selected setting in memory.
It can be switched back into the active mode, keeping the previous
setting, after pressing one of the three buttons:
TIME, MODE or
START.
Pressing the
ON/OFF
button in the stand-by mode will
erase the previous setting and automatically set the first exposure
programme with exposure time 5 minutes.
WARNING:
The device is a source of heat. After each session using
programme 1 one should make a break to cool the device off (with
10 mins exposure in programme 1, the break should last about 15
minutes)
Battery level indicator
Before first use of device You should perform three hours
(3-hours) battery charging process.
Battery charging
Battery charging follows after connecting the YS10MB charger to the
device socket and next to the main power supply.
The full charging of the battery follows after 3 hours of continuous,
uninterrupted charging. While charging the battery the device rema-
ins active and the charging process is under control.
The battery charge state is indicated by several fold (repeated) sound
signal and lighting of the Batt. diode green (until the moment of
disconnecting the charger from the power supply).
Leaving the charging for more than 3 hours poses no threat.
The charging can be started in any state of device (switched on or
switched off). For performing the correct process of battery forming
should be conducted at least (minimum) 3-times battery charging
and discharging process.
The Batt. diode indicates the battery level in three phases
of work:
1. After turning the device on:
•
the Batt. diode lights up green – battery is full, the device can be
used without using charger,
•
the Batt. diode lights up red – the battery is depleted (it is necessary
to use the charger).
2. During work:
•
the Batt. diode does not light up – battery is full, the device is ready
for use,
•
the Batt. diode lights up red at intervals – the battery is partially
depleted, however using the device can continue,
•
the Batt. diode lights up red constantly – is almost depleted, using
the device can continue,
•
the Batt. diode lights up red and there is several fold sound signal
– the exposure is terminated and device switched off; the battery
is discharged. You should connect the charger and perform the
3-hours charging process.
3. During battery recharging:
•
the Batt. diode lights up red – the battery is discharged,
•
the Batt. diode changes to green, there is sound signal – the battery
is charged,
•
after disconnecting the charger the Batt. diode goes off.
The device can be used for treatments even during charging, but
since this shortens the battery life, we recommend not to do this.
WARNING!
If the device has not be used for a long time, we recom-
mend 3-hours battery charging before starting.

Exposure programme selection
Pressing the
MODE
button allows to select one of the five exposure
programmes. After turning the device on with the
ON/OFF
button,
programme 1 is selected automatically. Each depression of the
MODE
button causes the exposure programme to change, as indicated by
the lighting up of the appropriate control diode.
Additional information
•
When the device signalizes the selected exposure programme,
pressing the
TIME
button allows to check which duration has been
selected.
•
Setting the “Exposure duration selection” and “exposure program-
me selection” functions can be done interchangeably and modified
until the
START
button is pressed.
•
Pressing and holding the
TIME
button causes the exposure du-
ration to change automatically. Similarly, pressing and holding
the
MODE
button causes the exposure programme to change
automatically
Starting the session
The exposure session begins after pressing the
START
button.
End of exposure session
The exposure session ends automatically after the selected exposure
time ends. After 1 minute after the end of the session the device
switches into the stand-by mode. The session can be stopped at any
moment by pressing the
ON/OFF
button – turning the device off.
Additional information
•
Pressing the
ON/OFF
button erases the selected programme and
exposure duration. After turning it on again, the device resets to
the initial programme 1 and 5 minute duration.
•
During work buttons
TIME, MODE, START
are inactive.
•
A sound signalizes the end of the session.
