L2TP
L2TP, Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol
is a tunneling protocol used to support virtual private networks
(VPNs). It does not provide any encryption or confidentiality by itself; it relies on an encryption protocol
that it passes within the tunnel to provide.
Note:
4 sessions for dial-in connections and 4 sessions for dial-out connections
Name:
User-defined name for the connection.
Rule Index:
The Index to mark the session.
Type:
Select Dial Out if you want your router to operate as a client (connecting to a remote VPN
Server, e.g, your office server), while choose Dial In to operate as a VPN server.
