Recommended Phone Settings
Your phone settings can prevent the Bigfoot Unity App from working
properly. Recommended phone settings are listed below:
Phone On with App Open
Your phone must be on and sufficiently charged for the Bigfoot Unity
App to work. If your phone is off, you will not get any alerts. You should
also keep the App open at all times and not force it to close by swiping
it off the screen. The Bigfoot Unity App must be open for Bigfoot Unity
to work properly and for you to get alerts.
Bluetooth
Settings
Your App uses
Bluetooth
communications with your Sensor and
Caps. You must keep your phone and App
Bluetooth
settings turned
on for Bigfoot Unity to work properly and to get Low Glucose, Sensor
Unavailable, and Long-Acting Dose Alerts.
Critical Alerts
Your App uses
Critical Alerts
to push Low Glucose and Sensor
Unavailable Alerts to you, even when your phone is muted or set to
“Do Not Disturb.” You must keep Critical Alerts turned on to make sure
you receive these alerts.
Notifications
Your App uses
Notifications
to show alerts on your phone and
communicate with your Sensor and Caps. You must keep your phone
Notifications setting turned on for Bigfoot Unity to work properly and to
get Low Glucose, Sensor Unavailable, and Long-Acting Dose Alerts. In
addition to turning on Notifications, make sure to also turn on:
• Sounds for Notifications
• Notifications on Lock Screen
• Notification Banners
