CE Compliant Instructions
This section outlines additional requirements for installations required to meet CE directives.
Fans and fan controllers listed in the following Declaration of Conformity will be built to satisfy requirements as listed in the
Machinery
Directive 98/37 EC, Low Voltage Electrical Equipment Directive 73/23 EEC
, and the
EMC Directive 89/336 EEC
.
Big Ass Fans systems that are fabricated to meet these requirements will be clearly marked prior to shipment. These marks will include
a CE logo (as shown below) on the exterior of associated packaging, as well as on/in the equipment itself.
Equipment shall also be marked with the following information at the time of manufacture:

Year of construction
•
Name and address of manufacturer
•
Serial Number
•
Equipment Weight (Kg / lbs)
