Baldor or Reliance - 3 Lead, Single Voltage Wye for 600V Installations
ATTENTION: These motors are used in conjunction with Canadian Models only.
WARNING: Due to the nature of Variable Frequency Drive systems with long motor cable lengths, extremely high voltages can
exist at the motor terminals (as high as 1800V p-p). For motors without terminal blocks, the preferred method of terminating
these motors is shown below. Use of wire nuts should be avoided when possible.
Preferred method of splicing a motor with flying leads requires two crimp ring terminals, an 8-32
screw and 8-32 self locking nut or a nut with lock washer. This splice should be wrapped with
Cambric tape, rubber tape, and then electrical tape.
