CONNECTIONS
Before connecting the unit, check that the
installations comply with the regulations in force in
the country where the machine is used and always
compare the system data with those shown on the serial
number plate.
ELECTRICAL WIRING CONNECTION
The unit is equipped with a power supply cord
already mounted. It must be permanently
connected, without joints, to an electric switchboard
equipped with a device that guarantees the complete
disconnection under a category III overvoltage in
compliance with the local regulations in force.
Don’t coil the cable if it is too long and pay attention
that it is not pinched or that it obstructs the passage
of people.
EQUIPOTENTIAL CONNECTION
The machine must be connected to an equipotential
system. The connection terminal is near to the input of the
power supply cord.
The equipotential connection is marked by the following
symbol:

REPLACING THE ELECTRICAL CABLE
If the power supply cable is too short or damaged, it
must be replaced by the Manufacturer’s Technical
Support for safety reasons.
The cable must be replaced as follows:
•
Disconnect the power supply by using the switch
disconnector;
•
Unplug the cable from the terminal board of the
machine:
- SA/E 60, SA/E 60-E Models: open the door under
the machine to find the terminal board.
- SA/E60S-BF, SA/E75S-BF Model: dismount the
dashboard to find the terminal board.
•
Connect the new cable as given in the electrical
diagrams shown at the beginning of the manual. The
new cable must have at least the characteristics of the
H07RN-F with an operating temperature of at least
80 °C and have a section suitable for the machine (see
the Technical Data section on page 22). The yellow-
green earth wire must be longer than the other wires
because, in the event that the cord flap breaks, the
yellow-green wire will disconnect after the voltage
wires
•
pass the new cable through the hole and tighten the
cord flap to stop it;
•
connect the new cable to the system’s electrical
switchboard.
