INSTALLATION
The images refer to the SA/E60S-BF model salamander
but, if it is not given differently, the instructions are the
same for any model.
SAFETY WARNINGS
The installation, start-up and extraordinary
maintenance must be carried out by qualified
personnel.
All work necessary to install the unit must meet the
regulations in force.
The unit must be installed in a way that allows the
replacement of the power supply cable after the unit has
been installed.
Objects near the machine (i.e. walls, decorations,
cabinets, decorations, etc.) must be made of fire-
retardant materials and not sensitive to heat.
Do not install the unit too close to other machines
that reach high temperatures because that may
damage the machine’s electrical components.
During the installation, make sure that the suction air
outlets are free from any obstacles.
PRELIMINARY OPERATIONS

Since the packaging can be potentially hazardous, it
must be kept out of the reach of children or animals
and should be disposed of in accordance with the local
regulations.
A few parts of the appliance are protected by an
adhesive film which should be removed before using
the appliance. The glue residuals must be cleaned properly
without using abrasive or acidic products and sharpened
or abrasive tools.
POSITIONING THE MACHINE
CHARACTERISTICS OF THE ROOM WHERE THE MACHINE
IS TO BE INSTALLED
The installation room should have the following
characteristics:
•
the unit must not be exposed to direct sunlight;
•
air outlets must be arranged to ensure the correct
operation of the unit and the proper ventilation in the
room. The air outlets must have a suitable size and be
covered by a grid and positioned in a place where they
