Operation
•
Further operation is not allowed if:
o
the detector is damaged.
o
threads on the housing are corroded.
o
the housing of the detector is heavily corroded.
o
cable glands / conduits are corroded or damaged.
o
adapters are heavily corroded or damaged.
o
seals / fittings are damaged and/or have a visible ageing effect or movement.
Protection principle Ex "d" / "t" / “XP” / “DIP”
•
Do not open the connection compartment while there is voltage
•
If an explosive atmosphere is present: Waiting time before opening the elec-
tronics compartment after turning off the supply: 2 minutes.
•
Inside the housing a temperature switch interrupts the supply at a temperature
of 75-80 °C. At the latest at a temperature of below 65 °C, the temperature
switch closes the supply through again.
