9 mm wide decorative stitches

cotton or rayon embroidery

· for all fabrics
· for embellishing and decorative work
Stitch selection
· press the external menu button for Decorative stitches
· select the desired stitch group from the screen (groups
100, 300, 400, 600, 700, and 900 are 9mm stitches)
· select the desired stitch
Screen
· selected stitch is highlighted
· suggests foot 1; use foot No. 6 or No. 20C for heavy,
compact stitches
· basic settings (length and width) are automatically set,
but can be altered
Altering the stitch width
· alter the look of the stitch by adjusting the width
· turn the external stitch width knob to the right to
widen the stitch
· turn the external stitch width knob to the left to
narrow the stitch
· both the basic settings and the altered settings will be
visible on the screen

· alter the look of the stitch by adjusting the length
· turn the external stitch width knob to the right to
lengthen the stitch
· turn the external stitch width knob to the left to
shorten the stitch
· both the basic settings and the altered settings will be
visible on the screen

Altering the basic settings
· the stitch can be adjusted as desired
· adjust the size of the stitch to suit the size of the item
being sewn, e.g, reduce the width for small items such
as doll clothes
