Problem Action
Check the primary pendant’s fuse (F5), in the left power center (Figure 6-
20). Replace if blown. Use the Service Program to check for over current
conditions at solenoids. Repair wiring or replace coil, as indicated by
Service Program. The pump motor functions, but no
sections move when activated.
If wiring and solenoids are satisfactory, replace CPU..
Check wiring for shorts.
The auxiliary hand pendant will not
function
The auxiliary drawer switch or the pendant may have failed. Replace
drawer switch.
BATTERIES AND CHARGE INDICATORS
Introduction
A table should be charged overnight or for at least 8
hours before use under the following conditions:
•
When it is first delivered and set up.
•
After being returned to service after storage.
•
After the batteries have been replaced.
•
When the battery capacity indicator on the hand
pendant shows yellow or (flashing or steady) red.
The batteries should be charged every weekend for at
least 8 hours under normal use conditions. Normal
use conditions consist of five 8-hour shifts.
Batteries should be replaced after 3 years use or when
the charge/discharge cycles drops below once in
every five 8-hour shifts.
The battery status LEDs on the pendant show the
capacity of the batteries (Figure 6-21). The presence
of AC will change the display levels (TABLE 6-6).

No AC Detected
If AC is not connected when the table is turned on,
the display on the hand pendant will show the
battery’s charged status (Figure 6-21). Refer to
TABLE 6-1 to determine the components that will
function at each battery power level.
