to the auxiliary pendent when the drawer is opened.

Tilt and Trendelenburg Sensors
The tilt and Trendelenburg sensors are standard
accelerometers used extensively in the automotive
industry (FIGURE 4-26).
The tilt and Trendelenburg sensors are the same.
Both are excited with 5 volts, and have an output of
between 0.200 –4.9 volts. The nominal voltage at
level is 2.5 volts.
Slide Sensor & Height Sensor
The slide sensor is a DC potentiometer (10k
Ω
voltage divider) with an output signal from 0 to 5
VDC (FIGURE 4-27).
Software senses readings from 0.5 (at extreme
forward slide) to 4.5 VDC (at extreme reverse slide).
A reading of 1.5 VDC is nominal when the table top
is centered over the column.
