Better running characteristics

Beckhoff recommends greasing the contact surface on the guide
rails of the entire system before mounting the movers and commis-
sioning the XTS.

A suitable substance for greasing is, for example:

• Vaseline

► Grease the running surface on the guide rails on both sides in

the entire system 1 with Vaseline

► Loosen and remove screws 1 and 2

► Remove lock 3

► Insert the rail on support 3 and secure it with screws 1 and 2
