matter how long it takes to restore the voltage.
A restart delay can also be programmed,
allowing e.g. two compressors to be restarted
one after the other.
A.7.1.6
Start Commands During Pro-
grammed Stop Time and Minimum Stop
Time
Programmed Stop Time
After pressing stop button, the compressor will
run unloaded for a programmed time period.
The compressor then stops. A start command
during this period is ignored.
Minimum Stop Time
After stopping, the module prevents the motor
from restarting within a programmed time
period. A start command during this time will
be memorized and executed after running out
of this period.
A.8 Preparations for Initial Start-
Up
It is not necessary to stop compressors running
in cascade to integrate the ES-6 into the
compressor installation.
• Stick labels on the control panels of the
compressors connected to the ES-6 as
well as on an obvious place inside these
compressors, warning the operator that
the compressor is remotely started and
stopped by a separate controller. These
labels must warn the operator that, after
voltage failure, the controller can remotely
start and stop the compressors, depending
on the air demand and programmed values.
• Connect the power supply cables of the ES-6
controller to an appropriate single-phase
voltage.
• Switch on the voltage.
•
Have the network configured
(commissioned) by
BeaconMedæs
Service
Personnel.
• Check that the default parameters for the
ES-6 Controller on the Dryer Control Module
have been changed to the
BeaconMedæs
values per Section A.6.1 Parameters.
• Check that the default parameters for the
Elektronikon Controller on the compressors
have been changed to the
BeaconMedæs
values per Section A.7.5 Parameter Listing -
Compressor.
