ACTION ON
MATCH
Specifies if frames that match Permanent entries in the
Address Filter table are FORWARDed to the outgoing port or
REJECTed.
Note: this parameter does not apply to Learned addresses,
which are always forwarded.
If FORWARD is set, any frame received which matches a
filter table entry is FORWARDed to the destination port.
If REJECT is set, any frame received which matches a filter
table entry is REJECTed.
FILTER
MULTICAST
Specifies the action taken when a Multicast or Broadcast
frame is received by the bridge.
If DISABLE is set, no Multicast filtering will take place and
such frames will be forwarded to all valid ports.
If ENABLE is set, Multicast frames will be rejected, unless
they are configured as Permanent entries in the Address Filter
table. Note: This may stop some protocols from working!
TYPE
MATCHING
Specifies if type matching is performed on entries in the Type
Filter table. ENABLEd allows type matching, DISABLEd
means that no type matching is performed.
UN-
MATCHED
TYPE
ACTION
This parameter applies to packets that do not match any of
the entries in the Type Filter table when Type Matching has
been ENABLEd. FORWARD means that if a received
packet type is not found in the Type Filter table, the packet is
FORWARDed to the relevant port(s).
REJECT means that if a received packet type is not found in
the Type Filter table, the packet is REJECTed.
