Ensure that the probe is connected to the thermometer. The actual internal
temperature can be displayed with the function THERMO TEMP (Fig. 2).
•
Select the optimum internal temperature from the attached table according
to your taste.
•
Programming the internal temperature:
Set the “TEMP ALERT” switch to the “OFF” position.
Set the desired temperature by using the “AUF” button (for up)-and “AB” (for
down).
The set temperature will be displayed under the function of “SET TEMP”.
Set the “TEMP ALERT” switch to the “ON” position.

Should the set temperature be the same as the internal temperature of the
food, automatically a beep signal will be audible.
•
The signal resounds continuously for 5 minutes.
•
If you press the “START/STOP” button the audio signal is turned off, but after
one minute the signal resounds again. To permanently disable the audio
signal the “TEMP ALERT” switch should be turned to the “OFF” position.
•
If the meat is ready, remove the probe by using gloves that are resistant to
high temperatures.
Never touch the probe cable and / or the probe with
your bare hands!
