TCR Adjustment procedure
-
Check
the right adjustment as follows: when adjusting the Contrast with the RCU,
about ten steps up and down, the color of the noise in the white area may not change.
Adjust red or blue if necessary.
For example: If the red color if seen earlier than the blue and green then decrease
the red black balance one step and check again.
-
Finally
, adjust the Contrast on the RCU until the white area in the picture appears
full white.
If everything is adjusted properly the preset input balance values can be saved into
the default settings of the projector (see further), press EXIT to leave the Preset Input
Balance adjustment.
Interpretation of the Results
A misadjustment can lead to a bad color tracking near the full white levels and also
bad gamma values. These items are measured during TCR adjustment procedure.

Step 4: Adjustment for the different Color Temperatures
Apply an external 100% white image
(A)utomatic or (M)anual adjustment?
After the adjustment of the Preset Input Balance, input y(es) and press ENTER to
continue the adjustment for the different color temperatures.
At this point, an external full white image has to be applied. The color temperature can
be adjusted automatically or manually. If the color meter is not connected to the PC
the manual adjustment is the only possibility.
Automatic Adjustment (Color meter connected!!)
Input A(utomatic) to proceed to the automatic adjustment. The color temperatures
3200K, 5400K* , 6500K and 9300K are automatically adjusted and loaded into the
projector software. If the program cannot find the right color point, a warning will be
displayed. In this case the manual adjustment can be used after the program has
been restarted (skip step 2 and 3).
