Mechanical Installation

About this chapter

The Auto Alignment Head can be installed on a mechanical support, using the M6 mounting studs, washers and nuts.

The Auto Alignment Head can be installed in table mount or ceiling mount mode. This unit can not be installed on a motion base
platform!

7.1.1

Mounting the Auto Alignment Head on a mechanical support

Necessary tools

Open ended nut spanner 10 mm

Make sure that the mechanical support is solid enough to sustain the weight of the Auto Alignment Head and
that it is in a good and safe location and position.

The mechanical support should have a positioning hole and three

xation holes of the correct size and at the

correct position to

fi

x the unit. See "Dimensions", page 21.

How to mount the Auto Alignment Head on a mechanical support?

1. Disconnect the power cable and the SFTP Cat.5e cable from the Auto Alignment Head.

2. Loosen and remove the M6 mounting nuts (3x) and washers (3x) from the M6 mounting studs on the Auto Alignment Head.
