Finishing check and adjustment of geometry
Use a micro fiber cloth to clean the picture tube and the contrast screen.
Remount the contrast screen.
Use only the micro fibre cloth, part no. 3375706 to clean the contrast screen.

- Connect a standard 4:3 test pattern (e.g. Philips).
- Select picture adjustments with a digit (1 - 8) and adjust by pressing

During the adjustment procedure it is possible to select a new picture adjustment
by means of
l
or
n
. Store the adjustment by pressing
GO
, and select a new
adjustment or end the menu by pressing
STOP
. The
EXIT
key will get you out of
the service menus.
Drive
- Adjust the brilliance to the nominal value: Brilliance 32.
- Remove the colour saturation: 00.
- Adjust the red and green drive (Rdr and Gdr) to the correct white level.
- Bdr may be used only if the correct adjustment cannot be achieved by means of
Rdr and Gdr.
Cut-off balance
- Adjust the brilliance to the nominal value: Brilliance 32.
- Remove the colour saturation: 00.
- Adjust the red and green cut-off balance (Rcu and Gcu) so that the dark fields in
the test pattern become colourless.
- Bcu may be used only if the correct adjustment cannot be achieved by means of
Rcu and Gcu.
Peak Drive Level (PDL)
- Adjust the Peak Drive Level to 20.
