Dismantling, English 6.5
Replace PCB5, Deflection
Deflection PCB and connecting cables are shipped as one unit, 8000919.
REMEMBER THE CHASSIS MUST BE CONNECTED TO THE ESD-MAT
Procedure
- Disconnect mains voltage.
- Discharge the picture tube. See
8.
In order to avoid electric shock, the picture tube must be discharged.
Wait for minimum 30 sec. after the mains supply has been removed before
discharging the picture tube.
- Disconnect focus cables at PCB3.
Use a screwdriver to press spring in holder marked A then remove the cable.
- Disconnect cable at PCB on picture tube 1010 and 1009.
- Disconnect high voltage.
- Disconnect 5P48, 5P49, 5P50, 5P51 and 5P73.
- Remove PCB5 and high voltage cable.
- Insert new PCB5.
- Connect 5P48, 5P49, 5P50, 5P51 and 5P73.
- Connect static focus cable, BLACK, in socket A.
- Connect dynamic focus cable, RED, in socket B.
- Connect G2 red to 3P190.
- Connect cable at PCB on picture tube 1010 and 1009.
- Connect high voltage lead.
