6.1 Communication parameters
The BCM transmits 20 bytes of process data. The
meaning differs depending on the selected profile (see
Section Process data from page 38). The basic device
specification is described in Tab. 6-1.

The minimum cycle time (MinCycleTime) of the
BCM is 10 ms. The master can increase the
cycle time as necessary, which is why the cycle
time that is actually used (MasterCycleTime)
depends on the master.
The process data always updates after the time
window of the respective module has elapsed
and is therefore not updated at each cycle time.
The time windows differ, depending on the
module (see Section Process data from
page 38).
