Attach spring to frame
1. Using a Phillips head screwdriver, remove the small sheet metal screw from
the right end hole of the standing platform hinge. Keep nearby, you can use
this screw in the latch retrofit. (Figure 3a)
Please note: if this screw is stripped or lost during assembly, use the spare
sheet metal screw provided.
2. Thread sheet metal screw into loop on end of spring attached to the corner
of the latch plate.
3. Place screw in the hole from which it was removed. (Figure 3b)
4. Use your Phillips head screwdriver to tighten down. Please note to stretch
and bend spring gently when tightening down screw to prevent spring coil
from catching under screw.
Attach bumpers
(optional)
1. Remove the black Velcro tabs located on the Allegro rail and cover edge.
(Figures 4a & b)
2. Attach one clear self-stick bumper on each side of the cover edge where the
Velcro tabs were. (Figure 4c)
Maintenance
Upon first use and over time, you can apply Dry Silicone spray to the latch
mechanism
