Starting and Stopping the Machine
1. With power connected to the saw, turn the
key switch (A) to the ON position. The
power indicator lamp (B) will be illuminated
when the bow is raised.
2. The machine is started by pushing the start
button (C) and will continue to run until the
saw bow is in the down position at the end
of the cut, or when the stop button (D) is
pushed. Pushing the stop button will stop
the motor at any time.
Force Stop and Emergency Stopping
The machine will normally stop after the
operation cycle. There are two ways to force a
stop in an event of an emergency or improper
operation.
1. To stop the machine during normal operation, use the stop switch (D). This will not reset the
controls and your operation setting. The blade and drive motor will stop. Then the saw bow
will rise to the start position. Adjustments can be made.
2. Use the cycle start switch (C) to continue the cutting cycle.
3. For unsafe and emergency conditions, use the emergency stop button (E). Using emergency
stop button will stop the machine in position it is currently at. The motor and hydraulic will
stop and control setting will be reset.
4. To restart the machine after pressing the emergency stop button, lift the emergency stop
button to release it. The operation cycle must be reset.
