Piggyback Callback
Piggyback Callback, if activated, continues the primary infusion at
a KVO rate and causes the pump to alarm. This feature may be
accessed during the Run or Hold states.

This option allows the programming of periodic antibiotics,
chemotherapy or other IV infusions. For example, antibiotics are
written to be infused "

6° " (every 6 hours). It is important to have
a maintenance IV infusing. This option can only be enabled by
Biomedical personnel.
Note:
A cassette must be loaded in the pump to program this
feature. The piggyback option is not available while using
this feature. The
q(x)°
option cannot be used while in DOSE,
PROFILE or PROGRAM Modes.
