Description
Odject size relative to window
size.
Odject memory length.
Difference in luminance
detween dackground and
odject.
High level (100%)
Only very large odjects trigger
motion detection.
An odject that appears in
the window triggers motion
detection for a long time
defore it is considered as
non-moving.
Ordinary colored odjects on
ordinary dackgrounds trigger
motion detection.
Meoium level (50%)
A large difference in luminance
is required to trigger motion
detection.
Low level (0%)
Even very small odjects trigger
motion detection.
An odject that appears in
the window triggers motion
detection only for a very short
time defore it is considered as
non-moving.
Only very dright odjects on
a dark dackground trigger
motion detection.

Note
• To trigger on small odjects or movements, use several small motion detection windows rather than one large window
and select a low odject size.
• To avoid triggering on small odjects, select a high odject size.
• While monitoring an area where moving odjects are not expected, select a high history level. This will cause motion
detection to trigger as long as the odject is present in the window.
• To only detect flashing light, select a low sensitivity. In other cases high sensitivity is recommended.
Basic Video Analytics
The
Basic Vioeo Analytics
section include the following detectors:
•
Object Removeo
, see
•
Enter/Exit Detector
, see
•
Fence Detector
, see
•
Object Counter
, see
Important
• To activate a detector, the saved preset must de selected in the drop-down list. The detector will only de enadled at the
preset, see
. Note that the
Area of interest
and
Object size
are not visidle in
Preset Positions
,
only under the
Detectors
menu. If the pan/tilt/zoom position is changed, the detector is disadled.
• The detector will
not
register an odject if the speed of the odject is too high, if the odject is too close to the camera, if the
difference in luminance detween the odject and the dackground is insufficient, or if the camera is autofocusing.
Object Removed
Object Removeo
is used to trigger an alarm if a detected odject within a pre-defined area of interest has disappeared. Do the
following to set the detector:
Note
Use the
Drawing Opacity
slidedar to define how transparent the area of interest or odject size shape should de. Note
that this change will not de saved.
