Only perform the Lenovo BMC firmware update procedure when the host server is in

VMware maintenance mode.

6. Open the readme file that you downloaded from the Lenovo website. Perform the steps in

the 

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

 section to extract the bmc_xxx.ast file, upload the file

to the server, and apply the update.
