Purpose: 

This parameter is used to enable hardware (DSR/DTR) handshaking 

for RS-232 serial communications. 

 

How to Set: This parameter can be left in the default setting (Handshake 

disabled) for most applications.  If the parameter is enabled, 

DSR/DTR handshaking will be required for serial communications 

between the SmartTach and external computer.
