level 1 (authorized operator, password protected) – enables such operations as reset of locked
detectors,
level 2 (maintenance, password protected) – enables adjustment of the system parameters.
The default level is the basic one (level 0). All users who have physical access to the control unit and can
operate with the interface are granted with the level 0 access rights. When an operator attempts to select
an option that requires any higher authorization rights than the current one attributable to the operator,
the device shall require to enter an access password:
Every password is a four-digit number. Due to safety reasons only one digit is visible at a time. The digit can
be scrolled from 0 to 9 by means of up and down arrow buttons
, whilst the left and right arrow
buttons
make it possible to move to the next position.
When the password entered by a user is correct the system enables logging to the system and access to
functionalities assigned to the specific authorization level. Information about the currently granted
authorization level is shown on the home screen (see Section 3.4). The access rights are automatically
restored to Level 0 under the following circumstances:
selection of the LogOut option (see Section 3.7.8),
no button on the keypad is depressed during 1 minute.
After an incorrect password is entered three times a row the logging operation is disabled for five minutes
and each attempt to access functionalities that need more advanced authorization rights leads to the
following message:

3.7
Detector menu
The detector menu is activated after a short hit on OK button on the keypad. The menu summarizes options
associated with operation of gas detectors.
Upon navigation to the detector menu the following information is shown on the LCD display (an example
of the display view is shown above and list of possible options is provided in the table below).
