The ranges of possible settings are the following:
not less than 10% of the full range
,
not more than 95% of the full range,
not more than 60% of LEL for detector graded in %LEL units,
threshold levels for ‘downward’ direction can be deactivated if settings for the threshold are less
than the minimum permissible level (use to down arrow button
o minimize the settings),
any subsequent threshold level for ‘upward’ direction must be not less than the previous one
according to the sequence of warnings/alarms
,
any subsequent threshold level for ‘downward’ direction must be less or equal than the previous
one according to the sequence of warnings/alarms,
Navigation to setting of a subsequent threshold (with simultaneous approval of the current setting) is
possible by depressing the
button. After completion of the settings all thresholds are stored into the
detector memory.
Results of the operation are outlined in Section 3.9.
3.7.7
„Inhibit” mode
Authorization level required for the operation
1 – Authorized operator
Specification
Makes it possible to temporarily include or exclude any specific
detector (switching the ‘Inhibit’ mode on and off)
Upon selection of that option the current ‘Inhibit’ flag (operation status) of the detector is read and then
the operator is asked to enter the new setting:
Possible settings are the following:
Regular mode – the detector keeps monitoring of gas concentration
Inhibit mode – the detector is excluded from the system. Such a detector is depicted on the front
panel of the Control Unit Module by means of the ‘Inhibit’ signal – see Section 3.4.3.
After the mode is switched over the information about current status is stored in the detector memory.
Operation results – see Section 3.9.
13 Note! Threshold levels are specified in physical units whilst the limitations are specified in percentage of the full range. Therefore actual values
may differ.
