Table 15: Assignment of menu fields on the LCD display
Options that are selected for a specific channel affect operation of the detector connected to that channel.
To select desired options for a specific channel proceed in the following way:
1.
On the home screen select the channel to be tuned (upon entering the menu loop it is no longer
possible to change the channel).
2.
Navigate to the menu for the desired channel and select the option.
3.
Run the option.
Options of the detector menu affect its operation. It is why extreme care must be taken for
selection of the channel. Check twice to make sure that tuning shall be carried out for the
right channel. The channel number is shown in the left upper corner of the display (field 1 in
Figure 15).

Makes it possible to view and erase historical events.
Upon selection of the option the Control Unit Module shows historical events stored in the memory of the
unit. Only the events related to a single detector are shown at a time.
The top line of the display contains the channel number and location of the gas detector being the source of
information that is currently presented on the display (see Section 3.4), whilst historical events are
presented by means of corresponding indicating LEDs (see Section 3.1.3). Since the status presented on the
front panel corresponds to past events and does not reflect the current situation, the MEAS. indicator is
always off. The historical events stored in the memory include:
gas alarms: exceeding of the 1
st
and 2
nd
warning thresholds or the alarm threshold,
non-critical and critical failures of the detector.
