6.2.3 Battery failure
When voltage across the battery contacts drops below the permissible threshold the control unit informs
about the problem by means of the BATTERY FAILURE indicator.
The indicator is inactive (irrelevant) for the design option of the control unit that collaborates with a shutoff
valve provided with a coil for control voltage of 230V AC.
Purpose /colour Meaning
/ yellow The LED is permanently on – low voltage status of the battery is indicated.
The LED is off – normal level of battery voltage.

6.3 Indicators of the power status
These indicators are meant to inform about the source of power voltage for the control unit.
Purpose /colour Meaning
/ green The LED is on – the control unit is supplied from a source of 230V AC voltage (power
grid)
/ green The LED is off – the control unit is supplied from a backup battery

6.4 Keypad
The keypad comprises three buttons:
CLEAR/CONFIRM – to change appearance of the control panel,
MEMORY – to clear the memory content and acknowledge the buzzer signal (to mute the buzzer),
TEST – the button is designed to run test of the shutoff valve connected to the controller.
6.5 MEMORY indicator
Purpose /colour Meaning
/ green The LED is permanently on – possibility to view historical events
/ green
The LED flashes – at least one event is stored in the memory
The LED is off – the history of events is empty

6.5.1 Operations with the memory of events
If any alarm, warning, defect or external alarm is reported for any communication channel the control unit
responds to the event by activation of a relevant LED indicator. After the aforementioned circumstances
disappear the control unit returns to regular operation but a LED indicator designated as MEMORY starts
blinking. It means that a history of past events is stored in the memory of the control unit. Operator can
react in the following way:
depress the CLEAR/CONFIRM button to display content of the memory and the MEMORY indicator
shall be switched to permanent light,
repeated depressing of the CLEAR/CONFIRM button returns the control unit to display the current
status,
