ALARM indicators
The ALARM indicator enables the control unit to inform that the specific gas detector reported exceeding of
the maximum permissible threshold of gas concentration – see details in the table below:
Purpose /colour
Meaning
/ red
The LED is permanently on – the second (alarm) threshold of gas concentration is
exceeded.
/ red
The LED flashes – the first (warning) threshold of gas concentration is exceeded.
The LED is off – none of gas concentration threshold is exceeded.

6.1.3
FAILURE indicators
When any irregularity in communication with any of gas detector takes place the control units warns about
the possible defect by switching on the orange LED indicator designated as FAILURE, respectively for each
detector. The FAILURE indicator is also activated when a gas detector defect is revealed.

The LED is permanently on – a failure is reported
The LED is off – no failure (regular operation).

6.2
Indicators of the valve status
These indicators are only available for the EcoAlpa 17 design option.
6.2.1
Valve failure
If any irregularity in communication with the shutoff valve is detected the controller activates the VALVE
FAILURE indicator. Check whether all connection cables are in order and remedy the reason for the failure.
Purpose /colour
Meaning
/ yellow
The LED is permanently on – a valve failure is reported
The LED is off – no failure (regular operation).

6.2.2
Test required
The indicator TEST REQUIRED reminds about the need to trigger a valve test. Such a reminder is issued by
the control unit every 90 days (the test procedure of a valve is described in details in Section 9.5.2).

The LED is off – regular operation.
