Greeting text
The Greeting text option enables you to set a
short phrase that appears each time the phone
is turned on.
Use the left navigation key to set the
Status to
On or Off .
To modify the Greeting text , press Edit , and
make the changes. Press Option > Done when
finished.
Speed Dial
The Speed Dial option assigns single keys to
numbers in your phone book so that you can
quickly and conveniently dial those numbers.
Number keys 2~9 can be assigned one speed
dial number each. Pressing and holding a key
with an assigned speed dial number calls that
number.
Before using the speed dial function, set the
Enable Speed Dial item to On .
Dedicated key
The Dedicated key option allows you to
create shortcuts for phone functions using the
navigation keys.
to set a shortcut key
1. Launch the Phone Setup menu and
select Dedicated key .
2. Select a key from the list and press Edit .
3. Select a phone function from the list.
4, Press Ok or to set the shortcut
key.
When the main screen is displayed, the
dedicated key can be pressed to launch the
pre-set application.
Auto update of date and time
Auto update of date and time is a network
service that automatically updates the date and
time in your phone when you travel or if daylight
savings time is used in your area.
To enable this feature, launch the
Phone Setup
and select Auto update of date and time . Use
the left navigation key to toggle between On
and Off .
NOtE: Inquire about Auto update of date and time from your
service provider.
Flight Mode
Setting the phone to flight mode disables all
call functions to save power consumption and
avoid call disruptions while playing media files.
Launch
Phone Setup and select Flight Mode
to set your mode preference.
Backlight time
To set the backlight timer, launch Phone Setup
and select Backlight time . Select from the list
