3. Select the phrase you would like to add,
then press Ok or to confirm.
The text from the template appears in
the message. You can add to the text, or
edit the text before sending or saving the
message.

to edit a phrase in template
1. From the main menu, launch , and
select SMS > template to display the
common words list.
2. Select the phrase, then press Ok or
.
3. Select Edit to modify the phrase, or
select Erase to delete it completely from
the template list.
Message settings
The Message Settings enables you to
configure your SMS message settings. Up
to four profiles can be defined that contain
message center number, valid period for each
message, and message type. You can also
configure common settings, which include a
delivery report and reply path. You can also
view memory status and set the preferred
bearer.
To configure common settings
1. From the main menu, launch
and select SMS > Message Settings >
Common Setting .
2. Select Delivery Report or Reply Path
options then select On to enable or Off
disable the feature.
3. When finished, select Done .
4. When prompted to save the new settings,
select Yes .
to check the memory status
1. From the main menu, launch and
select SMS > Message Settings >
Memory Status .
2. Press Ok or to display the
Memory Status .
The preferred bearer option sets the type of
network you prefer. When there is a choice of
a GSM or GPRS network, the phone then uses
the network of your preference.
to set the preferred bearer option
1. From the main menu, launch and
select SMS > Message Settings > Pref
Bearer .
2. Select the network option you prefer.
Select Prefer GSM or Prefer GPRS to
set a preference.
3. Press Ok or to confirm your
selection.
