7.12___Maintenance and cleaning of the chlorine probe
Take care not to drop the glass balls contained inside the probe.
Carry out the following steps:
1.
Close the flow of water.
2.
Open the bleeder valve to empty
the circuit.
3.
Unscrew the pH probe to
facilitate emptying of the circuit.
4.
When the circuit is empty,
unscrew the chlorine probe and
remove it, taking great care not
to drop the glass balls.
Cleaning the copper electrode:
1.
Unhook the fast-on (connection to platinum
electrode).
2.
Unscrew the electrode
Take care not to deform the platinum spiral, and
store in a safe place.
Rub the copper electrode with the brush included in
the supply in order to make it shine.
After completing this operation, put the parts back
into place taking care not to deform the platinum the
electrode.
Replacing the glass balls.
To replace the glass balls, proceed as follows:
1.
Wet the balls included in the supply with water.
2.
Use a flat-bladed screwdriver to position them inside the
probe.
3.
After completing this task, close all the parts of the probe.
