The chlorine value shown at that moment in time will
appear on the display together with the indication
DPD.
Use the
and keys to set the chlorine value
measured by means of the DPD method (e.g. 0.80
ppm).
Press the
key.
The solenoid valve will be powered up and shut off the
flow of water.
The instrument will start the automatic calibration
procedure
with
80 measurements
on the water contained in the
probe. The procedure will be shown on the display.
The solenoid valve will remain powered up throughout the calibration time.
The
HOLD
and the
Cl
2
LEDs
will remain illuminated
throughout the whole procedure.
The instrument will save the parameters calculated
and the indication
SAVE PAR
will appear on the
display for one
second. The instrument will then exit the calibration
menu, the solenoid valve will be powered down and
the flow of water will be reinstated.
The number of measurements carried out by the instrument will be proportional to the
concentration.
Example:
0.80 ppm = 80 measurements 1,10 ppm = 110 measurements
The operator does not need to control the panel since calibration is fully automated. The time
required for calibration is about
15 minutes for 1 ppm
of chlorine.
